Lyonsdown to open German office
Lyonsdown, a leading publisher of independent reports and supplements in the UK, recently announced the establishment of its first foreign operation, in Munich, Germany.
Creating marketing campaigns for some of the world's largest brands, Lyonsdown works in conjunction with clients to produce reports that appear regularly in The Guardian, The Telegraph and Sunday Telegraph. Its goals are to connect with target audiences, market products, and communicate important issues.
After achieving great success in the UK, Lyonsdown launched their German operation in hopes of replicating what they have already done in the UK. With the formation of the German office, customers will be able to launch cross-European campaigns that will hit both the German and British markets, simultaneously.
"There is a very high demand for this sort of cross-country marketing," says Bradley Scheffer, owner and managing director of Lyonsdown. "We already have a great number of German customers from our UK publications, and thus we are confident that our international expansion will be successful."
Lyonsdown has partnered with one of Germany's most highly regarded publications, Financial Times Deutschland, and will publish their first supplement – a technology-themed report on green, sustainable IT – before the end of the year.
Lyonsdown will open an office in Munich in March of next year under the direction of Ulrich Merkl.
